HERITAGE® IR laminated shingles feature a fiberglass mat construction, which is fully reinforced with a proprietary application that consists of a polyester mat across the entire width of the shingle, eliminating the need for backing aggregate, and uniform thickness throughout the entire overlay sheet. Each shingle is coated on both sides with a layer of weathering-grade asphalt and surfaced with ceramic granules.
